As a contract manufacturer of electronic medical devices, HUKUI ventures into the smart medical device market, having been invited by the global semiconductor leader, Infineon Technologies, to participate in OktoberTech 2023 North America in Silicon Valley, USA. At the event, the company will showcase the prototype design of the health smart ring developed in collaboration with Infineon, aiming to seize opportunities in the US smart health monitoring wearable market.

The showcased health smart ring by HUKUI can visually represent imperceptible body signals, such as heart rate and blood oxygen levels. This goes beyond traditional vital sign monitoring, serving as a reference for preventive healthcare. Addressing user habits, the ring's application resolves the challenge of continuous data collection faced by other devices, providing convenient and effective real-time monitoring of physiological data. With algorithms and an accompanying app, it becomes a personal health assistant, enabling wearers to instantly understand their physiological metrics. Given the increasing global population with chronic illnesses and rising health awareness, the health smart ring is poised for significant opportunities in the sub-health market.
The smart ring solution presented by HUKUI utilizes Infineon's PSoC™ 6 low-power microcontroller. Its low-energy design enables outstanding battery life, and combined with HUKUI 's expertise in interpreting physiological data, the ring offers excellent performance in terms of low energy consumption, lightweight design, and high accuracy.
