As a leading agricultural biotechnology company in Taiwan, CH Biotech has made concerted efforts to promote carbon neutrality. The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) published a guidebook titled "Recarbonizing global soils – A technical manual of recommended management practices " in September 111, compiled by over 400 soil management experts worldwide. This manual is the FAO's first standardized collection of the impact caused by major soil management practices on soil organic carbon across various environments such as farmland, grassland, forests, wetlands, and urban soils. It analyzes the advantages, disadvantages, and feasibility of these practices through practical case studies, serving as a comprehensive reference tool for carbon reduction departments and ESG practitioners in industries. Recognizing the value of this guidebook for the development of zero-carbon emissions in Taiwan, Chairman Wu of CH Biotech decided to wholeheartedly promote this internationally recognized soil carbon sequestration manual.

CH Biotech has printed and distributed both English and Chinese versions of the manual, which are freely available to all those who care about Taiwan's sustainable development and land health. In addition to printing the English version, CH Biotech also organized a team to translate the entire set of books into Chinese. A team of 10 researchers with master's or doctoral degrees spent over three months and more than 3,000 hours to complete Chinese and English proofreading, Chinese polishing, term review of glossary, page layout and other work. CH Biotech also provided free access to Chinese e-books of this technical manual through online resources for download. The release of the book attracted considerable attention from people in different fields who are concerned about zero-carbon emissions, resulting in an initial shortage of the 3,000 printed copies.

In  response to the need, more copies were printed, bringing the total number to 10,000 sets. This demonstrates that the book has sparked significant interest in zero-carbon emissions among the public. Taiwan not only has the potential to become a leading country in carbon reduction but also provides relevant professionals with a standard reference, eliminating the need for trial and error.
