Pupillary light reflex behavior is an important indicator for judging the subject's state of consciousness in hospitals' ICUs. The AIBMRC facilitated cooperation between Changhua Christian Hospital and NCKU to develop an automated detection mechanism. The team designed a mechanism to automatically open the eyelids and an AI image recognition model to determine whether the subject's pupils change during the test. Finally, it can speed up the test and reduce the burden on nursing manpower.
