WINMAP™ is a platform developed by WCC for producing microneedle/microarray patches (MAPs). This platform enables WCC to incorporate various active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) inside the microneedle for a wide range of purposes, including cosmetics, healthcare, drugs, and vaccines. The platform is supported by four core technologies that cover the entire production process of MAPs:
• M²DF: it consists of two databases; the microneedle material database and the microneedle formulation database. These robust in-house databases allow for the prompt selection of suitable ingredients and formulation methods that align with the product specifications/product function plan/regulatory requirement.
• PD²F: it is critical to understand the successful penetration (P) rate of MAPs into human body. the solid MAPs will dissolve (D), diffuse (D) into designated areas and function (F). To fully understand the four mechanisms enables WCC to develop MAPs with high efficacy and accuracy.
• PLC (precision coating and loading): this is an advanced MAPs fabrication technique derived from micromolding. PLC ensures that the MAPs produced have consistent and precise drug loading.
• AMASS: WCC's production process incorporates automatic mass production across all sections. This enables WCC to achieve high yield rates (≥95%) and capacities (10 million MAPs yearly) to meet our client needs.
