In this platform we aim to express, engineer, and characterize protein components and growth factors used in T, NK and stem cell culture media. We now have successfully produced HSA, IL-2, IL-4, IL-7, IL-15, IL-21, fibronectin, bFGF, GM-CSF, and Activin A in yeast and mammalian expression systems. The presence of endotoxin in recombinant proteins can cause strong side effects. We have also established the methods for the removal of endotoxin from recombinant proteins produced by our platform and received ISO 17025 certificate for endotoxin test.
