The modifications of protein therapeutics can be used to improve their activity, solubility, thermostability, and immunogenicity. The market of protein therapeutics modification is approximately US$3 billion with an annual growth rate of 12%, highlighting its importance. Three platforms, including the incorporation of disulfide bond, PROTEINylation, and PEGylation, were developed by our team. We aim to assist academia and the biotechnology industry by improving the stability and solubility of protein therapeutics in the developmental stage.
