Promega presents a new benchtop capillary electrophoresis (CE) instrument for Sanger Sequencing and fragment analysis applications such as STR analysis, microsatellite instability analysis (MSI), mixed sample analysis, cell line authentication, NGS confirmation, or mutation detection. It is designed for the use with most commercially available 4-, 5- and 6-dye kits. Prefilled, plug-and-play consumables allow maximal flexibility and resource efficiency. Raw data export files (.fsa and .ab1) are compatible with various commercially available data analysis software. The Spectrum Compact is an integrated and efficient instrument that brings you the independence to perform the analysis in your laboratory, under your control, and at your convenience. Operation of the Spectrum Compact CE System is intuitive, thanks to the instrument touch screen and Remote Access Software that allows access from any computer connected to the same network.
