4. Joystick Control:
• User-friendly joystick control system allows clinicians to manipulate the catheter with exceptional dexterity.
• Real-time feedback enhances maneuverability and ensures unparalleled precision during navigation.
5. Self-Sensing Feedback:
• Self-sensing actuator provides real-time feedback on the catheter’s shape and position.
• Future enhancements include autonomous bending, position sensing, tip sensing, and haptic feedback.
6. Cost-Effectiveness:
• Streamlined production processes reduce manufacturing costs to approximately $60 per unit for quantities below 1,000 units.
• Ensures affordability and accessibility to a wide range of medical institutions.
7. Reduced Diameter and Enhanced Capability:
• Diameter reduced to 9 French (0.300 cm) with a future goal of less than 4 French (0.130 cm) to accommodate vascular and potential neurovascular applications.
