🌐 NanoLuc® Luciferase: A Small but Mighty Bioluminescent Tool
Category: Cell Therapy and Regenerative Medicine
Exhibitor: GENELABS LIFE SCIENCE CORPORATION
Booth No: M929
Characteristic
🔬 Product Features
Ultra-High Brightness: NanoLuc® is a small (19.1kDa), highly stable enzyme that uses the novel substrate furimazine to produce luminescence approximately 100 times brighter than traditional luciferases.
ATP Independence: Its luminescent reaction is ATP-independent, reducing background signals and enhancing sensitivity.
Ideal for Fusion Proteins: Its small size makes it an excellent fusion partner for studying protein dynamics in live cells.
🧪 Applications
1. Gene Expression Reporting
Endogenous Promoter Activity Measurement: By integrating NanoLuc® into endogenous loci using CRISPR-Cas9, precise monitoring of promoter activity is achieved.
2. Protein-Protein Interaction Analysis
NanoBiT® Technology: NanoLuc® is split into two subunits (LgBiT and SmBiT), each fused to target proteins. Interaction of these proteins brings the subunits together, emitting a luminescent signal, enabling real-time monitoring of protein interactions in live cells.
3. In Vivo Imaging
Nano-Glo® FFz Substrate: Specifically designed for in vivo imaging, this substrate enhances solubility and bioavailability, suitable for tracking viral distribution, CAR T-cell localization, and more.
