Surgery voice recognition input system is a combination of technology and medication, which can help nurses finishing the records without stopping jobs in hand. With this system, nurses wearing Bluetooth headsets can simply say the data, such as operation time, and the system will identify it and upload the data immediately. Aside from enhancing the immediacy and accuracy, this system can also make nursing recording process and the surgery work much more conveniently and fluently. In addition, while doing the “TIME OUT” (a procedure to confirm the patient’s safety before the surgery start), all medical team members have to stop their work in hand and check all the information of the patient on the 43-inch screen to insure patient’s safety. Furthermore, during the COVID-19 pandemic, when it comes to encounter confirmed or suspected cases, this system helps delivering messages about patients’ information and emergency needs between the circulating nurses inside and outside the isolated operating room fast and accurately. This way can highly increase the efficiency of caring confirmed patients and reduce the risk of infection. This system has obtained the patent from Intellectual Property Office, Ministry of Economic Affairs.
