Bio-Techne Expands COMET™ Spatial Biology Portfolio with New SPYRE™ Solutions

Bio-Techne announced the expansion of its COMET™ spatial biology portfolio with the launch of new SPYRE™ Focus Panels and SPYRE™ Amplification Kits, further strengthening the modular and automated COMET™ spatial biology workflow. These new solutions provide researchers with greater flexibility, enhanced sensitivity, and deeper biological insights from complex tissue samples.
The newly introduced SPYRE™ Focus Panels, including Stroma and Vessel-focused panels, are designed to support more targeted spatial biology applications. Featuring pre-validated antibodies and ready-to-use protocols, the panels help reduce multiplex assay optimization time while maintaining the flexibility to incorporate antibodies from researchers’ own libraries.
In addition, SPYRE™ Amplification Kits utilize seqLA™ (sequential layered amplification) technology to improve the detection of low-abundance and difficult-to-detect targets, enabling higher sensitivity and improved spatial proteomics data quality.
To support these advancements, Bio-Techne has also introduced new enhancements to HORIZON™ Image Analysis Software, optimized for COMET hyperplex imaging workflows using SPYRE™ tools, helping streamline tissue analysis from image acquisition to interpretation.
