WCC Biomedical, established in 2014, is a leading researcher and manufacturer of microneedle patches, also known as microarray patches (MAPs). The company was founded by Dr. Ta-Jo Liu, who holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from New York University. Dr. Liu is a distinguished professor at National Tsing Hua University and was the first Vice President from Asia at the International Coating Science and Technology (ISCST). WCC is also the only Taiwanese company recognized by several international healthcare organizations, including PATH, BARDA, the Gates Foundation, and so on. We have been invited to exclusive events such as the BARDA Vaccine Innovation Forum and most recently, invited to share our effort as speakers at the Microneedles Conference 2025. After years of innovation, WCC successfully developed the WINMAP™ platform, an end-to-end solution that enables the efficient incorporation of various drugs into microneedles while supporting seamless transition to mass production. A key competitive advantage of the WINMAP™ platform lies in its patented global technology, which allows precise localization of active ingredients at the microneedle tip, ensuring accurate drug loading and effective delivery.
