Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT), located in Taishan, New Taipei City, was founded in 1963 through a generous endowment by Mr. Wang Yung-ching and Mr. Wang Yung-tsai, the founders of the Formosa Plastics Group. After over sixty years of dedication and growth, MCUT now comprises three major colleges: Engineering, Environment and Resources, and Management and Design. All departments and institutes have received international accreditations from IEET or ACCSB. By integrating interdisciplinary teams, the university has established ten school-level research centers, covering cutting-edge fields such as green energy, smart healthcare, AI, and plasma thin-film technology.
Guided by the vision of developing into a "Research and Industry-Oriented University of Technology," MCUT achieved remarkable domestic and international recognition.
