Taichung Veterans General Hospital in central Taiwan began providing medical services on September 16, 1982. Since 1991, it's been accredited as a top-tier teaching hospital by the governmental Department of Health. With 1,632 beds and about 4,700 employees, it sees around 9,300 outpatients and 200 emergency room patients every day. As a public hospital, it offers safe, high-quality care, advanced facilities, training, and strong research and development programs.
