Characteristic
**Characteristic**
Kickstart is a prescription-based digital therapeutic (DTx) system developed for individuals with substance use disorders. It integrates wearable physiological sensors and immersive virtual reality (VR) scenarios to induce and monitor real-time craving responses. The system includes two core modules: Kickstart-Sense, which records heart rate variability, respiration, and EEG data, and Kickstart-Mind, which delivers VR-based craving cues and mindfulness exercises.
By synthesizing physiological signals with user feedback, Kickstart generates a proprietary Craving Index (KCI) that supports objective craving assessment and personalized intervention planning. It addresses the limitations of traditional self-reports and offers potential for future expansion to other behavioral addictions such as alcohol, gambling, and internet use disorders.
