OkaiDx™ Gastrointestinal Cancer Blood Test is based on non-invasive cfDNA methylation analysis. With a simple blood draw, it simultaneously detects molecular signals associated with gastrointestinal cancers, including pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, and hepatocellular carcinoma, providing multi-cancer, molecular-level adjunct testing information. Clinical validation data show strong performance in early detection of gastrointestinal cancers: pancreatic cancer Stage I/II sensitivity of 93.8%, colorectal cancer Stage I sensitivity >85%, hepatocellular carcinoma Stage I/II sensitivity >80%, and overall specificity of 98%. These results may help clinicians identify gastrointestinal cancer-related molecular signals earlier and improve confidence in early molecular adjunct detection and clinical interpretation. Compared with conventional tumor markers such as CA19-9, CEA, and AFP, which may be affected by inflammation, biliary obstruction, blood type, or other non-cancer factors, OkaiDx™ analyzes cancer-related DNA methylation signals to provide more specific molecular adjunct testing information.
This test is suitable for adoption by healthcare institutions, health screening centers, and channel partners. It can be applied to early molecular adjunct detection of gastrointestinal cancers, high-risk population follow-up, postoperative minimal residual disease (MRD) monitoring, and long-term recurrence risk management. OkaiDx™ is built on EG BioMed’s DNA methylation liquid biopsy platform and related patent portfolio. Among these technologies, colorectal cancer-related technology has been patented in Taiwan, China, Europe, Japan, Malaysia, and Australia; pancreatic cancer-related technology has been granted a U.S. patent and continues to pursue international patent protection through the PCT route.
