Originating from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich), K2 Photonics has developed a new generation of dual-comb laser systems featuring a 1 GHz repetition rate, compact architecture, low-noise performance, and operation without external locking. A single platform can cover an ultra-broad wavelength range from 1 µm to 5 µm (with an Optical Parametric Oscillator, OPO), as well as the terahertz (THz) and ultraviolet (UV) regions. This makes it a highly promising light source for two-photon and multiphoton microscopy in biomedical research. K2 Photonics also offers an OEM-ready product line designed for seamless integration into scientific and industrial instrumentation.
