In laboratories and biotechnology R&D centers, data such as temperature, humidity, and pressure are important factors that affect experiment quality and equipment safety. The DRS, or Distributed Recording System, helps users integrate critical data from different devices while providing real-time monitoring and alarm functions.

The DRS consists of SensNode sub-units and a MeshGate main unit. Each SensNode is equipped with two analog input channels and can be connected to TC thermocouples, RTDs, or linear signal sensors. With built-in magnets on the device, SensNode can be easily attached to ultra-low temperature freezers or laboratory equipment, allowing for fast and flexible installation.

SensNode transmits data in real time through the DRS’s own mesh wireless network to MeshGate for recording. Users can operate the system with an external Type-C touchscreen, or connect through Ethernet and use the web server interface to view real-time data, search historical records, and modify configurations.

MeshGate supports the OPC UA communication protocol, allowing collected data to be shared with third-party devices or systems for easy integration into existing management platforms. The system also provides user permission management and offers an optional audit trail function designed to meet FDA 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.

In addition, the dedicated DRS app can be used to pair SensNode with MeshGate. It can also connect directly to SensNode through Bluetooth, allowing users to quickly view real-time data on site.
