Built on Microfluidic Diffusional Sizing (MDS), Fluidity One M utilizes a unique in-solution approach to directly measure molecular size (Rh), binding affinity (KD), concentration, and binding stoichiometry. It eliminates the need for immobilization, allowing interactions to be measured in their native state for greater accuracy. Using fluorescence detection, MDS enables high-specificity binding analysis in complex biological samples such as serum and cell lysate.
2. Direct Measurement from Crude Samples – No Purification Needed
Fluidity One M enables direct analysis of crude biological samples such as serum, plasma, or cell lysate—eliminating time-consuming purification steps. It is compatible with a wide range of targets, from conventional proteins to challenging molecules like aggregates, membrane proteins, intrinsically disordered proteins, and PROTACs. Only 4 µL of sample is needed per data point, ensuring minimal sample consumption. The system also supports a variety of aqueous and biological buffers, including TRIS, HEPES, PBS, NaCl, KCl, TWEEN, DMSO, and DMF, offering high flexibility across experimental conditions.

Fluidity One M goes beyond measuring binding affinity. It simultaneously provides molecular size (Rh), calibration-free concentration, and binding stoichiometry—giving you a complete and assumption-free picture of protein interactions. This enables clear differentiation between high-affinity/low-concentration and low-affinity/high-concentration systems. The data can support morphological or structural studies and complement functional analyses. Rh can be measured across a range of 1–20 nm, suitable for peptides, multiprotein complexes, and fibrillar aggregates. It supports molecular weights from 1.4 kDa to 14 MDa and KD values ranging from pM to µM, covering both strong and weak interactions.
